About Dr. Rozenberg

Managing Sleep Apnea and TMJ Disorders.

Dr. Barry Rozenberg has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. Dr. Rozenberg's focus has been in orofacial pain, TMJ disorders, sleep disorders and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Rozenberg enjoys spending time with his family and especially enjoys golfing, cooking, and sharing recipes with his patients.

Sleep apnea mainly affects your breathing while sleeping, it can have lasting effects on your overall oral health. One of the links between sleep apnea and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorder lies in the tension and stress placed on the jaw and facial muscles. Clenching and Grinding – Many people with sleep apnea tend to clench and grind their teeth during the night. Sleep Position – The position you sleep in can also impact your jaw. Sleeping on your back, a common position for individuals with sleep apnea, can lead to jaw misalignment.
